  1. Step 1

    Plan

Pick the days you cook, add a main and sides, and set servings for each dish.

  2. Step 2

    Shop

Get one list for the date range: what you need, what's at home, and what to buy.

  3. Step 3

    Cook

Mark a meal cooked with what you actually used. Your inventory stays accurate.

Combined grocery list

Every meal, one list, real packages

Ingredients add up across every meal in the dates you choose, then the app subtracts what you already have and rounds to the package sizes stores actually sell. Tap any line to see which dinners need it.

Checking items off at the store never changes your inventory. When you get home, Confirm purchases adds what you actually bought — once.

Home inventory

Two different warnings, because they're two different problems

Track your pantry, fridge and freezer in lots, with a full history of purchases, cooking and corrections. Planned meals reserve what they need, so the same pound of chicken is never counted twice.

A low-stock warning means a staple dropped below the minimum you set. A planned-meals warning means this week's dinners need more than you have. One alert per problem, and it closes itself when it's fixed.

Low household stock

Olive oil is below your minimum of 8 fl oz.

Not enough for planned meals

You have 1 lb of chicken, but this week's dinners require 4 lb.

Substitutions

Alternatives that explain themselves

Out of something? Find an alternative and you'll see reviewed options — ones you already have at home first — each with the ratio, prep changes and how it tastes different.

Nothing changes until you approve it, and only for that one meal. Options that clash with someone's diet or allergies are blocked, with the reason shown.

Diets

Standard, vegetarian and vegan — at the same table

Set a diet for the household or for each person. Mixed households can cook a shared base once and add a variant for each group, and each variant is checked against that group's diet.

Allergies are kept separate from diets and dislikes, and they can't be overridden. Ingredients that vary by brand — cheese rennet, stocks, sauces — are marked "check label" instead of being guessed.

Recipe import

Type it, paste it, or snap it — then review it

Add recipes by hand, paste them from anywhere, or — where it's enabled — import a photo. Every import is a draft: you see the original line next to what the app understood, and anything uncertain is flagged rather than guessed.

AI only drafts. It never changes your inventory, quantities or diet settings. How we use AI
