cookingplan.app uses as few cookies as possible.
The cookie we set
- cp_session — an essential sign-in cookie. It is HttpOnly (page scripts cannot read it), SameSite=Lax, and Secure when the site is served over HTTPS. It identifies a server-side session that expires after 7 days and that we can revoke at any time — logging out, password changes and removal from a household end it immediately.
What we do not use
- No advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking or social-media pixels.
- No third-party analytics cookies.
Local browser storage
The app may remember small display preferences in your browser. These never leave your device and are not used to track you.
Managing cookies
Because the session cookie is essential, blocking it will prevent you from signing in. Signing out removes it.
